5-Minute Steamed Egg Custard
A foolproof five-minute microwave custard combining beaten eggs with warm water and a splash of soy sauce, delivering a tender, silky result with almost no effort.
Instructions
- 1

~3 native eggs.
- 2

Add half a spoon of salt and a spoon of MSG or chicken bouillon. You can add light soy sauce while beating. The egg mixture is about right when it looks like this.
- 3

Add warm boiled water or cooled boiled water to the mixture you prepared earlier, a little less than the amount of egg liquid, about 200 milliliters.
- 4

Microwave on medium-high for about 5 minutes. Anyway, once the aroma of soy sauce wafts out from the microwave, just add another 1–2 minutes.
- 5

If you're idle and bored, you can also add some chopped green onions. It's not recommended to add sesame oil because its aroma will overpower. To make it look good, when beating the eggs, use a spoon to pick out the bubbles.
