Pan-Seared Chicken Breast
Chicken breast sears in a hot pan until each side bears a golden, aromatic crust while the interior stays surprisingly juicy. Lean, protein-rich and endlessly adaptable, it turns a diet staple into a crave-worthy meal.
Instructions
- 1

Defrost the chicken breast.
- 2

After the chicken has softened, cut the thick chicken breast in half and score the outer layer with a crisscross pattern.
- 3

Then add the green onions, ginger, five-spice powder, salt, light soy sauce, MSG, cooking wine, and black pepper in order.
- 4

Mix well and marinate for more than 30 minutes.
- 5

Heat oil in a pan over low heat, and put the chicken into the pan to fry.
- 6

Find a bowl and put in the sauce (the sauce is enough for two chicken breasts).
- 7

Fry until one side does not stick to the pan and is cooked, then flip it over and continue frying.
- 8

When pan-frying, you can brush the sauce onto the chicken to give it color.
- 9

Finally, pour all the sauce into the pot, cover it, and simmer over medium-low heat until fully cooked.
- 10

Completed.
