Garlic Butter Shrimp
Plump shrimp sizzle in melted butter loaded with golden garlic until the shells turn glossy and aromatic. A Western-style twist on Chinese shrimp, rich, savory, and finished in minutes for an elegant weeknight main.
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the ingredients: Remove the heads and veins from the shrimp, butterfly them, and cut a piece of butter for later use.
- 2
Marinate the shrimp with minced garlic, pepper, white wine (or cooking wine), and chili powder for 20 minutes.
- 3
Pour an appropriate amount of oil into the pan, add the marinated shrimp, then sprinkle in some minced ginger, and stir-fry for a while until both sides of the shrimp change color.
- 4
Stir-fry until golden.
- 5
At this moment, add the butter and let it melt.
- 6
Finally, you can sprinkle a little white sugar for flavor, or you can leave it out.
- 7
Directly poured onto the plate, without any deliberate plating, the presentation is a bit lacking, but it doesn't affect the deliciousness of the shrimp at all 😋.
