Steamed alfalfa
Tender alfalfa leaves are dusted with cornmeal and steamed into fluffy, spring-green mounds, then dipped in garlicky sauce. A rustic northern tradition that turns wild spring greens into a light, wholesome meal.
Instructions

Remove impurities from the alfalfa and put it in a basin.

Soak in water with salt for 5 minutes and then wash clean.

Reserve water control.

Add cornmeal.

Mix well.

Steam over the pot until cooked (turn off the heat after 10 minutes).
