Braised Japanese Tofu

Silky Japanese tofu is coated and fried into a delicate golden crust, then briefly braised in a savory brown sauce. The contrast of crisp shell and trembling custard interior makes every bite melt away luxuriously.

    Cut the Japanese-style tofu into sections in the middle with a knife, pour out the sides, and then cut it into smaller pieces again.
