Exclusive Anti-Taro

A signature Chaoshan dessert, sugar-frosted taro coats crisp-fried taro batons in a shimmering white sugar crust. Fragrant orange peel perfumes the syrup, and each bite contrasts the crackly coating with soft, starchy sweetness inside.

    Required ingredients: Lipu taro, white sugar, green onions, orange, starch.

    Rub the orange clean with salt.

    Peel a little orange zest.

    The white part of the orange peel must be removed.

    Finely chop the green onions and mix them together with the grated orange peel.
