Chicken drumsticks stewed with potatoes
Chicken legs stew down with potatoes in a savory soy broth until the spuds drink the sauce and start melting at the edges, a one-pot comfort dish of tender meat and creamy starch.
Instructions
- 1

First, wash the chicken legs clean, cut each into two pieces, then soak repeatedly to remove the blood and wash clean. Blanch the chicken until there is no blood and take it out. Put an appropriate amount of cooking oil in a pot, add the chicken pieces to stir-fry, then add light soy sauce, cooking wine, five-spice powder, salt, and add potato pieces to stew.
- 2

Stew until there is an appropriate amount of sauce left.
- 3

Serve on a plate and sprinkle with chopped green onions for garnish.
