Salt and Pepper Corn Kernels
Sweet corn kernels are coated in seasoned flour, fried until golden, and finished with fragrant salt-and-pepper mix. Each spoonful crackles with crisp edges and bursts of juicy corn, a street-snack favorite that vanishes instantly.
Instructions
- 1
Cut the fresh corn into two sections, then cut each section in half, remove the corn kernels, wash them, and put them into a bowl.
- 2
Put water in a pot and bring it to a boil, add the corn kernels, boil for 2 minutes, then remove and drain the water for later use.
- 3
Evenly coat the corn with flour.
- 4
Pour oil into the pot until it just covers the corn kernels. After the oil is hot, add the corn and fry over medium-low heat until the surface turns golden brown.
- 5
Place a piece of blotting paper in the pan and pour in the corn kernels.
- 6
Finally, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, and it's ready to eat!
