
Steamed Chicken Wings with Potatoes Debut
Chicken wings scored and marinated with five spice, ginger and shallots for hours, then steamed fifteen minutes over salted potato slices. The potatoes soak up all the savory juices, making a comforting one plate meal.

Soak the chicken mid-wings to remove the blood and wash them clean. Make three cuts on the front side with a knife to help them absorb the flavor.

Cut the ginger into thin strips, and chop the shallots.

Place the chicken wings in a large bowl, add salt, cooking wine, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, shredded ginger, and chopped green onions, and mix well. Marinate in the refrigerator for more than 2 hours, turning a few times during the process.

Peel the potatoes and slice them.

Spread it at the bottom of the plate and sprinkle a little salt.

Place the marinated chicken wings on the plate and steam for 15 minutes.

Sprinkle with chopped green onions and start eating!
