Pumpkin stewed with potatoes
Pumpkin and potato chunks are stewed together with a splash of cooking wine, salt, and boiling water until both turn soft and sweet. Finished with chicken powder and scallion, the homey dish is naturally sweet, starchy, and utterly comforting, simple farmhouse cooking at its best.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the potatoes and pumpkins, and cut them into pieces.
- 2

Add an appropriate amount of cooking oil to the pot, then add the chopped potatoes and bottle gourd. Add a suitable amount of cooking wine, salt, and boiling water to stew.
- 3

Cook the potatoes and squash until tender, add an appropriate amount of chicken bouillon, and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
- 4

Serving the stewed pumpkin and potatoes, the soup actually thickened, very delicious, sweet and starchy (haven't made this dish for a long time).
