Steamed Yellow Croaker
Whole yellow croaker steams gently with ginger and scallion until the flesh lifts in pearly, sweet flakes. Finished with sizzling hot oil and light soy, this Cantonese classic celebrates pure ocean freshness.
Instructions
- 1

Clean the yellow croaker, remove the guts, gills, and scales, then evenly slice it diagonally. Add an appropriate amount of cooking wine and salt, and marinate for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to soak in.
- 2

Bring the pot to a boil, place the steamed fish plate in, after 5 minutes pour out the water in the fish plate, add the chopped green onions, then add the white cooking sauce and continue to steam for 8 minutes (this can remove the fishy smell, and the time can be adjusted according to the size of the fish).
- 3

The steamed yellow croaker has tender meat and a flavorful soup.
- 4

The yellow croaker has a delicate texture and a delicious taste.
