Volcano Mashed Potatoes
Creamy mashed potatoes are sculpted into a whimsical volcano with fork-drawn ridges, crowned by a bubbling crater of ketchup sauce studded with peas, carrots, and sweet onion. Playful, tangy-sweet, and endlessly fun for family dinners.
Instructions
- 1

Steam the potatoes until cooked, peel them, and mash them with a potato masher. Add a little salt and mix, then shape it into a volcano.
- 2

The pattern is etched upwards using a fork.
- 3

Make a small indentation on top of the mashed potatoes.
- 4

Peas and carrots should be cut first. I cut them myself and put them in the fridge to freeze.
- 5

Cut the onion into small pieces.
- 6

Prepare the ketchup.
- 7

Put oil in the pan and heat it, then add the diced onions and stir-fry.
- 8

Add the diced peas and diced carrots, put in a spoonful of ketchup, and pour in cold water to bring it to a boil.
- 9

Add salt and soy sauce, and a little sugar.
- 10

Finally, thicken the sauce, take it off the heat, and pour it over the mashed potatoes. A delicious serving of mashed potatoes is ready. Doesn't it look like a volcano?
