
Yellow croaker braised with tofu
Yellow catfish simmers with firm tofu in a fragrant braise of ginger, garlic and fermented bean paste. The fish stays moist while the tofu soaks up the savory, gently spicy sauce.
Instructions

Prepare a piece of soft tofu and cut it into pieces for later use.

Clean and prepare a yellow eel and a bone fish.

Cut the ginger into thin strips, slice the garlic cloves, and cut the millet grains into sections for later use.

Heat oil in a pan, then add the prepared seasonings and stir-fry.

Then add the fish, fry for two minutes, flip it over and add salt, and fry for one minute.

Scoop a spoonful of doubanjiang, put it in the oil pan, and fry it with the fish for two minutes.

Pour in the cut tofu and pan-fry it next to the fish for two minutes, then add water to cover the tofu and cook.

After boiling for seven or eight minutes, add the chopped green onions and turn off the heat.
