Garlic Vermicelli Shrimp

Butterflied shrimp with fanned tails are nestled on a bed of silken vermicelli, steamed under a sizzling garlic-chili sauce that soaks into the noodles, an impressive banquet-style dish.

    Set aside Longkou vermicelli.

    Soak the vermicelli in warm water for half an hour, then take it out and put it in a bowl.

    Frozen raw South American white shrimp, set aside.

    Peel and devein the shrimp, clean them thoroughly, and place them on a plate.

    Use a knife to cut open the back of the shrimp, poke a hole in the middle, then thread the shrimp tail from the back through the hole. One shape is completed. After finishing all of them, it looks like the picture.
