Blanched Okra

Tender okra pods, trimmed and halved, are blanched for just twenty seconds, then drizzled with steamed-fish soy and finished with scallions and sizzling hot oil for a clean, bright, effortlessly elegant side.

    Wash the okra and cut off both ends, then slice it down the middle.

    Add water to the pot, put in salt and oil, bring to a boil, then add the okra. After it comes to a boil again, blanch for 20 seconds, then remove and drain the water.

    Place the code into the disk.

    Drizzle with blanched sauce or steamed fish soy sauce, and place soaked shredded green onions on top.

    Pour in hot oil, and the aroma will be released.
