Passion Fruit Sour Soup Beef
Passion fruit pulp, tomato, lemon, and pickled chilies build a bright, fruity sour soup, with silky beef slices poached right in the broth and finished with cilantro for a refreshing, appetite-awakening main.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2

Cut the passion fruit open, as shown in the picture.
- 3

Make a cross-shaped cut on the tomato, pour boiling water over it, wait for 2 minutes, and then the skin can be removed, as shown in the picture.
- 4

Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and put them in a bowl. Cut the passion fruits and pour the pulp and juice into the bowl. Slice the lemon. Wash the beef and cut it into slices, then add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, an appropriate amount of pepper, 1 tablespoon of starch, and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Mix well and marinate for 10 minutes. Mince the green onion, ginger, and garlic, cut the cilantro into sections, and prepare the red chili and pickled chili peppers for later use.
- 5

Add an appropriate amount of oil to the pot. After the oil is hot, add minced scallions, ginger, garlic, millet chili, and pickled chili to sauté until fragrant. Add the tomato chunks and stir-fry until they release juice. Add passion fruit and an appropriate amount of water, then bring to a boil over high heat. Add the marinated beef slices and cook until the beef changes color and is fully cooked. Season with an appropriate amount of soy sauce and chicken essence according to personal taste, and stir evenly before serving.
- 6

Pour into the bowl.
- 7

After taking it off the heat, you can sprinkle with cilantro and add a few slices of lemon for decoration.
- 8

The sour soup is fragrant, appetizing, and helps relieve greasiness.
