Matsutake Mushroom Tofu and Bean Puff Casserole
Roast pork and braised beef lend richness to a clay pot simmered with soft tofu, bean puffs, and fresh shiitake, all brightened by matsutake seasoning, white pepper, and a scattering of cilantro and scallions.
Instructions
- 1

Place the clay pot on the stove, add broth or water, bring to a boil, add ginger slices, roasted meat, and braised beef, reduce to low heat, and simmer for 10 minutes or more;
- 2

Free your hands and cut the bean curd puffs into strips;
- 3

Cut the tofu into pieces and put them into the pot, continue to simmer for about 10 minutes;
- 4

Add fava beans and 2 sprigs of cilantro, then simmer for at least 5 minutes;
- 5

Cut the fresh shiitake mushrooms into pieces and put them into the pot;
- 6

Cover the pot and simmer for about 5 minutes;
- 7

Add fresh matsutake;
- 8

The packaging bag has a screw cap, so there is no need to transfer it to a container for storage. Just tighten the cap and put it in the refrigerator.
- 9

Add 1 teaspoon of fine salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil, sprinkle in chopped green onions and 1 sprig of cilantro, mix slightly, and it's ready to enjoy. Enjoy!
