Stir-fried Shiitake Mushrooms with Long Fragrant Loofah
Fragrant flower mushrooms meet soft, milky loofah in a quick stir-fry with garlic and red chili, contrasting the mushrooms' chewy umami depth with the gourd's delicate, juicily tender sweetness.
Instructions
- 1

Fresh long fragrant loofah.
- 2

Wash and remove the stem and peel, then cut into irregular chunks.
- 3

Squeeze out the excess water from the soaked shiitake mushrooms.
- 4

Slice and set aside.
- 5

Chopped red chili peppers and garlic, set aside.
- 6

Heat the pan and add an appropriate amount of oil, then pour in the red chili peppers and garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. Next, add the shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry for a moment, then continue to add the loofah with a suitable amount of salt, a little white pepper, and chicken essence for seasoning, and stir a few times until done.
- 7

Serve immediately after cooking.
- 8

Fresh and delicious.
