Tofu puff stuffed with meat
Airy fried tofu pockets cradle a succulent seasoned pork filling, then simmer until the spongy exterior drinks the braising sauce, delivering juicy, savory bites over steamed rice.
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the main ingredients: 100g of tofu puffs, 150g of minced meat, some green onions, and a piece of ginger.
- 2
Add 0.5 grams of salt, 1 gram of sugar, 0.5 grams of white pepper powder, 1 gram of light salt chicken essence, and 3 grams of cornstarch to the minced meat, mix well, then add a spoon of cooking oil and stir, marinate for 10 minutes.
- 3
Cut the tofu puff in half (do not cut all the way through) and stuff the filling in the middle.
- 4
All operations are completed in sequence.
- 5
Add a little base oil, fry the ginger until fragrant, then put in the tofu puffs and lightly pan-fry them.
- 6
Add a bowl of water (slightly more), 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, simmer over low heat for 2 minutes, and then place the tofu puffs on a plate.
- 7
Add 1 gram of fresh matsutake to the sauce, thicken slightly with a little cornstarch slurry, and pour it over the tofu.
- 8
Sprinkle some chopped green onions, the New Year's Eve dinner dish of tofu puffs stuffed with meat is ready.
- 9
The tofu puffs soak up the broth, savory and flavorful, bursting with juice when bitten, instantly bringing the festive flavor to life.
