8-inch birthday cake
Easy and satisfying, 8-inch birthday cake uses 8-inch chiffon cake base, cream and white sugar and is baked until light, fluffy and golden. Follow the steps for the best results.
Instructions
- 1
Prepare an 8-inch cake base and let it cool completely.
- 2
Wash the strawberries thoroughly and cut them into pieces about the size of your fingers. Do the same with the mango, and set them aside for later use.
- 3
Once the cake layers have completely cooled, divide them into three equal parts and set aside.
- 4
Beat the cream with sugar until it reaches 70-80% of its volume, but don't beat it too hard, otherwise the dough will feel coarser.
- 5
Spread a little butter on the turntable to create adhesion between the cake and the turntable, otherwise it may easily fall off or wobble when spinning, affecting subsequent operations.
- 6
Spread a thin layer of cream on the bottom of the cake, then pipe a ring around the edges.
- 7
Place your favorite fruits on top, then fill the gaps between each fruit with cream to make them fit together better.
- 8
After spreading it on the surface, use a spatula to scrape off the excess cream around the edges.
- 9
Repeat the above steps with the three cake layers, and after placing them, spread cream on top.
- 10
Spread the cream on the cake base.
- 11
Use a round piping tip to pipe dollops of cream on top of the cake base.
- 12
Then use a pointed spoon to press from the middle of the cream ball into the cake, and a groove will be formed.
- 13
Place a strawberry on top of each cream ball with a groove.
- 14
Then put some diced mango or some fruits you like in the middle.
- 15
A delicious, beautiful, and simple birthday cake is ready.
