Afternoon tea essential dessert
A fuss-free rice cooker cake where whipped egg whites are folded into a tangy yogurt-yolk batter and baked in the rice cooker for a soft, cottony afternoon-tea treat.
Instructions
- 1

Separate the egg whites and egg yolks. At this step, be careful not to break them, don't break them, don't break them! 😂
- 2

Add yogurt to the yolk. It is recommended to choose a slightly thinner yogurt. Add flour.
- 3

Beat the egg whites until creamy. For those without an electric mixer, you can also use a meat grinder~
- 4

Add the egg white to the egg and mix well. The picture above shows it not mixed well.
- 5

Pour into the rice cooker, remember to oil it before pouring, and set it to the rice cooking mode.
- 6

Start making the cream part. I also compared several ways to make cream; many use egg whites, but the hygiene of egg whites is not very high, so it's recommended not to try that. I chose a relatively simple and safe method for everyone. Squeeze some lemon juice into a bowl, or if you don't have lemon juice, add white vinegar.
- 7

Pour the milk into the pot, warm it up and turn off the heat.
- 8

After turning off the heat, add lemon juice, then strain it through a sieve, keeping the part that is like a paste; after whipping this part, it turns into cream.
- 9

Once the bread is done, remove the crusts and cut it into two pieces of the same shape.
- 10

Spread the freshly made cream.
- 11

Put on the decoration.
- 12

Finished product.
