Apple Slimming Soup
Apple slimming soup; lean pork simmers with apple chunks, soaked kelp, and barley in a pressure cooker into a light, mildly sweet soup credited with clearing dampness and nourishing skin.
Instructions
- 1

Soak the kelp until soft, then cut into small pieces.
- 2

Soak coix seeds by hand for 30 minutes.
- 3

Blanch the lean meat in water and rinse off the scum.
- 4

Peel the apple, remove the core, and cut it into small pieces.
- 5

Put the above ingredients into the electric pressure cooker and press the soup button to start cooking. (If you don't use a pressure cooker, you can also put them into a soup pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 1.5-2 hours.)

Cook it and add salt to taste.
- 7

Moisturizes, supplements calcium, dispels dampness, and also nourishes the skin.
