Apple, Snow Fungus, and Yam Soup
A nourishing soup combining chicken breast, lean pork, apple, Chinese yam, snow fungus and red dates, pressure-cooked into a sweet, mellow broth with a silky finish.
Instructions
- 1

Basic materials.
- 2

Chicken breast and lean meat are cut into pieces, blanched, and rinsed to remove the foam. Peel the apple and cut it into pieces.
- 3

Peel the yam and cut it into pieces.
- 4

Soak the white fungus until it expands, remove the roots, and tear into small pieces.
- 5

Remove the pits from the red dates.
- 6

Put all the ingredients into the inner pot of the electric pressure cooker and add an appropriate amount of water.
- 7

Put it on the stove with high heat and bring it to a boil, skimming off the foam. (The inner pot of my electric pressure cooker is stainless steel, so I usually boil it on the gas stove first and then put it in the pressure cooker to cook, which saves time and electricity. Electricity is expensive. 😀)
- 8

Place the inner pot into the outer pot of the electric pressure cooker, press the soup button to start cooking, and set the time to 30 minutes.
- 9

After venting, you can open the lid and season with salt.
- 10

Moisturizes and nourishes the skin, rich in natural gelatin.
