Bitter Melon Stuffed with Banana
Chilled bitter melon rings wrapped around sweet banana, served with a honeyed goji berry sauce that balances the vegetable's gentle bitterness.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients: Wash the bitter melon, remove the seeds, and cut it into sections; two bananas (slightly straight).
- 2

Rinse the goji berries with boiling water.
- 3

Add a spoonful of honey to goji berries, half a bottle of Sprite (or 7-Up), stir well, and put it in the refrigerator to chill for a while.
- 4

Put the bitter melon into boiling water with salt and blanch until barely cooked (flip several times during the process to ensure the bitter melon is evenly blanched).
- 5

Blanched bitter melon is briefly rinsed in cold boiled water.
- 6

Stuff the banana into the bitter melon.
- 7

Cut into thick slices and arrange on a plate, then take the Goji berry honey from the fridge and evenly pour it over the bitter melon.
- 8

Bitter melon is crisp, banana is soft and glutinous, and honey is sweet and refreshing.
