Blood Glutinous Rice Cup
Black glutinous rice is steamed until sticky, sweetened with coconut milk, pressed into little tart cups, and steamed again for a chewy, coconut-fragrant, jewel-dark dessert.
Instructions
- 1

Soak the glutinous black rice overnight, then steam it in a rice cooker (you can use slightly more water than when cooking regular rice; I personally think it’s better if the texture is softer and stickier).
- 2

Add a bag of coconut milk (it can also be substituted with milk according to personal taste).
- 3

Add 2-3 tablespoons of fine granulated sugar (you can also add condensed milk).
- 4

Stir thoroughly until evenly mixed (taste and adjust the sweetness as needed).
- 5

Place into the egg tart molds, steam over boiling water for about ten minutes (you can add some lotus seeds, goji berries, red dates, nuts, etc., for garnish according to personal preference).
- 6

Soft, glutinous, and sweet, can be served as an afternoon snack 😊
- 7

It can be frozen and taken out to heat on the stove at any time, and it becomes a nutritious little dessert.
