Heat the pan, add oil, crack in the eggs, and fry them into sunny-side-up eggs.

Prepare the rice and wash it clean.

  7. 7
    Step image

Add an appropriate amount of water.

  8. 8
    Step image

Add a little oil, bring to a boil over high heat, and stir with a spatula to prevent sticking to the bottom.

  9. 9
    Step image

After boiling, turn to medium-low heat and simmer the rice.

When the water is almost absorbed, place okra, braised meat, fried egg, crab-flavored sausage, and lotus root shreds on the rice in order. Cover the pot again, turn to low heat and simmer for a few minutes. When you hear a sizzling sound, turn off the heat (the total time for simmering the rice is about 12 minutes on low heat), then let it sit for another 5 minutes.
