A baby-friendly soup of tiny whole-wheat flour dumplings simmered with rehydrated dried scallop and broccoli, giving a soft, easy-to-chew texture and gentle seafood sweetness.
Instructions
- 1

Cooking method: Boil. Recommended age: 9 months. Preparation time: 10 minutes.
- 2

Soak the scallops for 1 hour, then chop and crush them.
- 3

Add a little water to the flour, stir well, then add more water until there is no dry flour, and mix into small dough lumps. Tips: The dough lumps are black because the flour is whole rye flour. A 9-month-old baby can eat these lumps. At this stage, mixed grain flour can be added. When first introducing mixed grain flour, start with 1/5, then gradually increase the proportion of coarse grains. By the age of 2, it can reach half refined flour and half coarse grain flour.
- 4

Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 1 minute, then chop the florets.
- 5

Boil for 2 minutes, then cook the broccoli florets together for 30 seconds before taking them out.
- 6

Boil a bowl of water in a pot, add the shredded dried scallops and bring to a boil, then add the dough pieces.
- 7

Delicious zinc-rich dried scallops don’t need any seasonings, and babies can scoop spoonful after spoonful into a big bowl~
