Bubble Gum Steamed Bun
A playful two-tone steamed bun of pink cactus-fruit dough rolled over white, cut into triangles and pressed down the middle with a chopstick so the layers splay open.
Instructions
- 1
Mix all the main ingredients together to form a smooth and proper dough.
- 2
Divide into two portions, add an appropriate amount of cactus fruit powder to one portion, knead into a pink dough, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- 3
Roll each of the two doughs into square sheets. Stack them together.
- 4
Spray water and roll it up from top to bottom.
- 5
Roll it longer and thinner, then shape it into a triangular piece.
- 6
Point upwards, and press down in the middle with chopsticks.
- 7
Then roll it into a round piece.
- 8
After flipping it over, cover it with an appropriate amount of red bean paste.
- 9
Clamp the mouth of the slurry with the tiger's mouth, with the mouth facing down, and the greenware will be ready.
- 10
After completing each step in order, place it into the Meiyu steam oven, select fermentation, and ferment until it doubles in size.
- 11
After the fermentation is complete, select the pure steam mode on the Meiyu steam oven and steam at 100 degrees for 18 minutes.
