Butter Cookies (Beginner Version)
Butter Cookies (Beginner Version): butter, low-gluten flour and powdered sugar in a few quick steps, baked until golden and crisp.
Instructions
- 1
Weigh all the ingredients and put them into containers for later use; this will save a lot of preparation time and reduce confusion during the process.
- 2
Place the butter in a bowl and let it soften at room temperature in advance, then use a spatula to press and mix continuously until smooth, and add the powdered sugar and mix evenly.
- 3
Add the egg whites in three batches, stirring well each time before adding the next batch, and finally add a few drops of lemon juice and mix evenly.
- 4
Sift in the cake flour.
- 5
Mix with a spatula until smooth.
- 6
Put it into a piping bag and cut a small opening at the tip.
- 7
Line the baking tray with parchment paper in advance, and pipe the batter onto the tray vertically, about the size of a button.
- 8
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees in advance, bake for 15-20 minutes, and take out when the surface color is appropriate. Note: The specific baking time varies depending on the size of the cookies.
- 9
Place the baked cookies on a wire rack along with the baking pan to cool. Once completely cooled, they become exceptionally crisp. Store in an airtight container.
