Calming Pork Heart Soup
A soothing Cantonese herbal tonic soup with pork heart and restorative herbs gently double-stewed for an hour until naturally sweet, needing only a pinch of salt.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the medicinal herbs and set them aside for later use.
- 2

Clean the pig heart of blood vessels, rinse it thoroughly, and then cut it into pieces.
- 3

Put the cleaned medicinal herbs and pig heart into a stew pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for an hour.
- 4

After stewing the pig's heart for an hour, there is no need to add other seasonings, as it is already very fresh and sweet. You can simply add an appropriate amount of salt to taste.
