Carrot Steamed Rice
Rice steamed with carrot batons sauteed in lard with onion, the savory juices absorbed into every grain for a fragrant, comforting one-pot meal.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the carrot to remove surface dirt, remove the stem and tail, peel it; cut into diagonal strips.
- 2

Heat lard in a pan, add diced onions and fry until fragrant. Add radish strips to the hot oil in the pan and stir-fry until the radish strips become soft. Turn off the heat, add salt and chicken bouillon powder, and mix well. Set aside.
- 3

For the first washing of the rice, add water to soak the rice, gently stir 1-2 times, and quickly pour out the water; add water again to wash, then pour out the water. Repeat this washing process 4 times.

After rinsing, pour the rice into the pot, add water to the standard water level, spread the rice grains evenly, add the stir-fried radish strips and spread them evenly; select the simmer rice mode to start cooking, and keep warm for 5 minutes after cooking.
