Chicken Breast and Potato Rice Bowl
Hearty rice bowl topped with velvet-marinated chicken breast, golden pan-fried potato, and green pepper, all coated in a glossy soy-oyster braising sauce spooned over steamed rice.
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the ingredients: chicken breast, potatoes, and green peppers. (Even better if you have onions)
- 2
Cut the chicken into thick pieces and marinate with cooking wine, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, starch, and a little salt and pepper for 15 minutes. Cut the potatoes into chunks and dice the green peppers for later use.
- 3
Pour oil into the pan and stir-fry the potatoes until they change color and both sides turn golden, then remove and set aside.
- 4
Then add the green peppers and chicken, and stir-fry until the color changes.
- 5
Pour in braised soy sauce, light soy sauce, and oyster sauce, and stir-fry evenly.
- 6
Add an appropriate amount of starch water, cover the pot, and simmer for 6 minutes.
- 7
This is much more than the portion outside, and the key is that the oil is good and hygienic.
- 8
Finally, just pour it over the rice, and add a sunny-side-up egg!
