Coconut Puff Pastry
Easy and satisfying, Coconut Puff Pastry uses ghee, powdered sugar and whole egg mixture and is baked until golden and puffed. Follow the steps for the best results.
Instructions
- 1

Slowly mix the butter and powdered sugar until well combined.
- 2

Gradually add the whole egg mixture to the high-speed mixer in batches and beat until pale (I added it in two batches).
- 3

Take out and mix with low-gluten flour, baking powder, milk powder, and baking soda until it turns pale.
- 4

Finally, add the shredded coconut and knead until evenly mixed. Divide into 25-gram portions, flatten each, or use molds to shape them (I used pineapple tart and heart-shaped molds).
- 5

Using only one shape is too monotonous; it is recommended to use more than two shapes.
- 6

Preheat the Kaoxiang Gaibike 80S oven to 200 degrees for ten minutes, then bake in the oven at 160 degrees for 25-30 minutes. For those that are flattened, about 20 minutes is enough.
- 7

After coming out of the oven, lightly shake it and let it cool before sealing.
