Cold Dressed Eggplant with Garlic

Cold Dressed Eggplant with Garlic

Steamed eggplant dressed with garlic powder, sesame oil and a pinch of seasoning, then chilled so every bite stays cool and garlicky.

Instructions

  1. 1
    Step image

Cut an eggplant into sections and steam it in a steamer for 15 minutes.

  2. 2
    Step image

Take the steamed eggplant out and put it in a bowl.

  3. 3
    Step image

Add salt, a tiny bit of mushroom seasoning or chicken bouillon, garlic powder, and sesame oil, and mix well. You can refer to my previous recipe for garlic powder: Homemade Garlic Powder. I like to use garlic powder when making garlic eggplant, as it has the flavor of garlic without biting into garlic pieces.

  4. 4

Put the prepared garlic eggplant in the fridge to chill; it tastes even better when cold~
