Cold Dressed Qianzhang / Tofu Skin
Silken tofu sheets and quick-blanched carrot shreds drink up a hot-oil-sparked dressing of garlic, chili, and toasted sesame.
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the ingredients: Qianzhang, onion, carrot, and cucumber, all cut into shreds.
- 2
Wash the garlic, cilantro, and small chili peppers, then chop them and set aside.

Boil water in a pot and blanch the tofu sheets.

Next, blanch the carrots (actually, you can also blanch both at the same time, it just depends on personal taste) for 10 seconds.
