Complementary Food - Chinese Yam, Egg, and Flour
A soft baby-food pancake of mashed Chinese yam, egg, flour and scallion seasoned lightly with soy, pan-fried golden on both sides, then cut into toddler-friendly bites.
Instructions
- 1
Peel the Chinese yam, then crush it with the back of a knife, and then chop it even more with the knife before putting it into a bowl.
- 2
Chop the green onions and put them in a bowl.
- 3
Crack an egg into a bowl.
- 4
Add the flour and mix everything together, add a little salt and a little soy sauce, and continue mixing. Mix until it reaches a batter-like consistency.
- 5

Put oil in a frying pan, add the mixed ingredients, fry until both sides turn yellow, then remove and place on a plate. Cut into small pieces, and it’s ready for the baby to eat.
