Creative Corn Crystal Pig Skin Jelly
A crystal-clear pork skin jelly is studded with blanched vegetable kernels set in a corn-shaped mold, a whimsical appetizer that hides meticulous, grease-free preparation behind its cute look.
Instructions
- 1

Wash an appropriate amount of pork skin, and blanch it in a pot with sections of green onion, slices of ginger, and cooking wine.
- 2

Repeatedly scrape the fat clean from both the inside and outside of the pig skin, and cook it until soft.
- 3

Cut the cleaned pork skin into strips, add an appropriate amount of water (too much water makes it hard to shape), and steam for 1 hour.
- 4

Wash the vegetable pieces and blanch them until cooked.
- 5

Remove the moisture from the vegetable pieces and place them into a corn-shaped mold.
- 6

Pour the steamed pork skin (removing the shredded pork skin) into a mold, and refrigerate until it sets.
- 7

Gently remove the cooled pork jelly and place it on a plate; the crystal-clear pork jelly is translucent and shiny.
- 8

Cutting the corn-shaped crystal jelly reveals a pure white and transparent appearance, which is very beautiful.
- 9

I also made a corn kernel crystal jelly.
- 10

Cut into several pieces that look like white sticky corn, chewy and elastic in texture, and visually appealing!
