Creative golden little peanut
Peanuts coated in egg yolk and starch, fried until golden and crackling, a glossy golden snack that is crunchy outside with toasty, nutty sweetness inside.
Instructions
- 1

Bought a silver chestnut squash, and it was very difficult to cut; I estimate it's the very starchy type of squash.
- 2

Steamed 4 pieces of pumpkin, and indeed it was very floury, also steamed some corn.

I suddenly thought of making a pure wax gourd dish, so I peeled the silver chestnut wax gourd, cut it into thin strips, and pressed and twisted it with a knife twice (because it is very starchy and cannot be too finely sieved). This is a delicate task; if it gets too soft, it won’t hold its shape, so it has to be just right.
- 4

Twist until it becomes very fine and smooth without any granules, and add some sugar as needed.
- 5

Divide into 2 doses.
- 6

I found a peanut-shaped mold to press it out, and the finished product is bright yellow and very pretty!

Made another one, two golden little peanuts, so cute! Very good-looking! Can be eaten directly.
