Crispy Broad Beans
Crispy fried broad beans: soaked overnight, slit open to prevent bursting, then slowly deep-fried from cold oil until golden, light, and shatteringly crunchy.
Instructions
- 1

Set the fava beans aside.
- 2

Soak overnight.
- 3

Use a knife to cut open the fava beans that haven't opened, so that they won't pop in the oil when frying.
- 4

After opening all the mouths, pour it out and drain the water for later use.
- 5

Wash the pot clean and heat it dry, add an appropriate amount of oil, then put the drained fava beans into the cold oil.
- 6

Then turn to medium heat and fry slowly. While frying, stir continuously with a spoon. This helps the broad beans heat evenly, making them look better and taste crispier. As the oil temperature in the pan rises, the moisture in the beans gradually evaporates, and a large number of bubbles appear in the pan, which is a normal phenomenon. This process takes about 10 minutes. After frying for 10 minutes, all the broad beans will have split open. At this time, switch to low heat and continue frying. After 1 more minute, the broad beans will be done.
- 7

Then pour it out to drain the oil and put it into a bowl.
- 8

Sprinkle an appropriate amount of salt on top.
- 9

Then put the broad beans on a plate.
- 10

Finished product image.
- 11

Take a bite, it's absolutely crispy.
