Crispy Meat Pie Exclusive
Thin, crisp-edged meat pies made from yeasted dough stretched paper-thin around juicy seasoned pork filling, pan-fried so the exterior shatters while the interior stays tender and savory.
Instructions
- 1

Pork with a 37% fat-to-lean ratio is chopped into minced meat, then add minced scallions and ginger, one egg, salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and Chinese five-spice powder, and beat clockwise until the mixture becomes sticky and set aside. Mix all-purpose flour with yeast and water to form a slightly soft dough, ferment until it doubles in size, and set aside.
- 2

Take the dough out to release the air, then cut it into equal portions.
- 3

Roll it out into a large sheet, put in the meat filling, and spread it out.
- 4

Fold it properly and seal the opening (you can choose any shape you like to do it).
- 5

After folding it properly, hold it tightly to reunite.
- 6

Gently flatten again, and use a rolling pin to gently roll it into a circle.
- 7

Preheat the electric griddle, add a little oil, place the pancake on it, and cook over medium heat until it sets.
- 8

Flip it over again, until both sides are golden brown.
- 9

The simple and delicious pork pie is ready.
- 10

Come eat the pancake.
