Crispy Small Twisted Dough Sticks Exclusive
Miniature black sesame mahua: a soft dough rolled thin, cut into strips, twisted into tight little spirals, and fried until shatteringly crisp and golden.
Instructions
- 1

Put the ingredients into the bowl.
- 2

Add black sesame and stir with chopsticks until it becomes a fluffy texture.
- 3

Knead by hand into a dough of moderate softness and firmness, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for half an hour.
- 4

Roll it into a large thin sheet.
- 5

Cut into thin strips.
- 6

Take one piece and roll both ends in opposite directions into thin strips.
- 7

Fold in half and twist into a braid.
- 8

Twist again, fold in half and twist into a short twisted dough, then pass one end through the small loop from the first fold and pinch it tight, this way it won't come apart when frying.
- 9

The twisted dough sticks need to be completely made first.
- 10

Heat oil in a pan until it reaches medium heat, then add the twisted dough sticks and fry over medium-low heat.
- 11

Fry until golden and then remove.
- 12

After it cools down, it tastes very crispy and fragrant.
