Curry Beef Rice
Hearty Japanese-style curry of twice-simmered beef with onion, carrot, and potato in thick, aromatic curry sauce, ladled over steamed rice for warming, mildly spiced comfort.
Instructions
- 1
Massage the beef with the back of a knife.

Cut the beef into cubes, put them in a pot of cold water, bring to a boil, and skim off the foam.
- 3
Add green onions, ginger, star anise, and cooking wine, and cook for 40 minutes.
- 4
Dice the onion, carrot, and potato and set aside.
- 5
Prepare 100g of curry.
- 6
Heat the pan and pour in oil.
