Dirty Egg Tart
Easy and satisfying, Dirty Egg Tart uses egg tart crust, dark chocolate and cream and is baked until golden and flaky. Follow the steps for the best results.
Instructions
- 1
Put the cream, milk, condensed milk, and white sugar together and heat. Heat until about 60 degrees Celsius. It's about right when it starts to bubble slightly. Let the prepared custard mixture cool to hand temperature. Add two egg yolks to the cooled custard mixture and stir evenly, set aside.
- 2
Chop the chocolate and set aside.
- 3
After arranging the tart shells, put the chocolate pieces into each tart shell.
- 4
Pour the egg tart mixture into the tart shells, about 80% full. Then place them in the oven.
- 5
Bake for 20 minutes (feels a bit too hot, adjust according to your own oven).
- 6
Homemade chocolate sauce: 60 grams of chocolate and 50ml of cream, heated over low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate blooms. The chocolate sauce is ready. For convenience, you can also buy ready-made chocolate sauce.
- 7
Next, put the chocolate sauce on the egg tart. Then sprinkle cocoa powder on top and it's ready to eat. I forgot to take a picture of spreading the chocolate sauce. It's really delicious!
