Dopamine Fruit Taro Balls
Vibrant taro balls in cheerful colors served with candied red beans and fresh fruit; delightfully chewy, naturally sweet, and playful as its name suggests.
Instructions
- 1

Sweet Red Beans: Soak red beans in water for at least 12 hours, changing the water a few times to remove the bean smell. Cook the soaked red beans together with yellow rock sugar using the rice cooking function of a rice cooker. Cook until there is no water left; if there is still water, press the rice cooking button again, and continue until all the water is gone. Sprinkle white sugar on the surface and shake a few times to coat the red beans with sugar. Avoid stirring with any tools, as that will crush the beans into a complete mess!
- 2

Dragon Fruit Taro Balls: Prepare one dragon fruit and a small amount of water. Use a blender on the juice setting to blend the dragon fruit. Boil the dragon fruit juice, then turn off the heat and add tapioca starch in small portions repeatedly until there is no dry powder left. Knead into a non-sticky dough. Pinch off pieces, roll them into long strips, and cut them into the desired length and size. If you don’t plan to eat them all at once, you can sprinkle them with glutinous rice flour and place them in the freezer. To cook the taro balls, boil them until they float, then cook for another two minutes. Remove and rinse in cold water. This will make the taro balls chewy and bouncy.

Matcha Taro Balls: The method is the same as above, except that for matcha taro balls, there is no need to extract juice; just mix matcha powder and tapioca starch together to make them.
- 4

Mango taro balls: The method is the same as above, I used the amount of one mango.
- 5

Cut various fruits into small pieces. Prepare an appropriate amount of raisins.
- 6

All the preparations are done.
- 7

Put all the ingredients in a bowl, and finally pour in the milk. I used fermented yogurt, and added plenty of all the ingredients.

A bowl full of summer dopamine taro balls is ready, and with its vibrant colors and satisfying taste, is your dopamine flooded, doubling your happiness?
