Double Sweet Potato Two-Color Steamed Bun Exclusive
Two-tone steamed buns pairing purple and orange sweet potato doughs, rolled into rectangles, layered, and swirled for a soft, gently sweet marbled crumb.
Instructions
- 1

Put two kinds of sweet potatoes into the electric cooker to cook until done.
- 2

While hot, peel the sweet potatoes, mash them into a puree, and let them cool to around 35 degrees Celsius.
- 3

Then separately add yeast powder, sugar, and flour.
- 4

Knead into a smooth dough.
- 5

Put it in a bowl and let it naturally ferment for about an hour. Once fermented, take it out and knead the dough more to release the air.
- 6

Roll the two doughs into rectangles (ignore my rolling technique).
- 7

Stack two pieces of dough on top of each other.
- 8

Roll it up.
- 9

Cut well.
- 10

Place it in the steamer and let it rise again for 15-20 minutes, then steam it in a pot of cold water for 15-20 minutes.
- 11

The steamed buns are so beautiful and very soft.
