Dried bayberry
Fresh bayberries are slowly simmered with rock sugar until the juices thicken into a glossy syrup, then dried to a sweet-tart, chewy candy bursting with berry flavor.
Instructions
- 1
Wash the frozen bayberries clean, do not add water, put them in a frying pan, and simmer over low heat.
- 2

Add a little more rock sugar and simmer over low heat for about 1 hour.
- 3
When there is not much water, turn to high heat to reduce the sauce.
- 4
Take it out of the pot and sprinkle a little sugar on top.
