Dumpling Soup
A nostalgic dough-drop soup where hand-stirred flour droplets cook in a tangy tomato and potato broth, forming soft, chewy blobs that satisfyingly thicken the soup.
Instructions
- 1

Cut the potatoes into small pieces and set aside.
- 2

Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and set aside.
- 3

Finely chop the green onions
- 4

Add oil to the pan, stir-fry the chopped green onions in the hot oil, then add the potatoes and stir-fry.
- 5

Add a little broth to the pot and simmer for ten minutes.
- 6

Add the tomatoes last, then stew for a little while, and bring to a boil
- 7

Take an appropriate amount of flour and mix it with warm water into a doughy texture. Mine is a bit large because my husband likes to eat slightly bigger lumps.
- 8

Put the stirred dough into the pot and cook until done, then sprinkle some chopped green onions on top before serving.
