Egyptian butter bread
A homemade recipe for Egyptian butter bread, combining high-gluten flour, milk and whole egg liquid; baked until golden and fragrant.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2

Put all the ingredients except for the butter into the bread machine to knead the dough.
- 3

After kneading well, add the butter and continue kneading into a smooth dough, kneading several more times.
- 4

Let the dough ferment until it doubles in size.
- 5

After removing the exhaust, divide into 6 equal parts.
- 6

Knead the dough into a round shape, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 7

Roll the dough out slightly, but don't roll it too thin.
- 8

Place it in the baking tray and let it ferment again until it reaches 1.5 times its size.
- 9

Use your fingers to poke a few holes in the fermented dough.
- 10

Cut the butter into small pieces and put them into the small holes.
- 11

Brush the surface with egg wash.
- 12

Sprinkle with white sugar.
- 13

Preheat the oven to 190°C in advance, then set the temperature to 190°C and bake for 13 minutes after placing the baking tray inside.
- 14

Fresh out of the oven, the color is very tempting.
- 15

Finished.
- 16

Soft on the inside, I ate one in a single bite, it's really delicious.
- 17

Completed.
