Exclusive Apple Pork Rib Soup
A gently sweet Cantonese-style soup simmering pork ribs with skin-on apples, corn, lotus seeds, lily bulbs, and glehnia root in a clay pot for a mellow, nourishing broth.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2

Soak the lotus seeds, lily bulbs, and adenophora in water for a while.
- 3

After blanching the pork ribs, rinse them clean with water.
- 4

Clean the apples, remove the cores, and cut them into pieces, and cut the corn into pieces as well. (Cook the apples with the skins on)
- 5

Put all the ingredients into a clay pot and add an appropriate amount of water.
- 6

Cover with the lid and bring to a boil over high heat. (You can use a fire pot; personally, I prefer the flavor that comes from cooking with a gas flame because it is particularly rich.)
- 7

After boiling, skim off the floating foam. (This makes the soup especially clear, without being greasy)
- 8

After cooking on high heat for 20 minutes, reduce to low heat and cook for 30 minutes, then add an appropriate amount of salt to season.
- 9

Finished product. (Not greasy at all, sweet and delicious)
