Exclusive Beef, Spinach, and Tofu Soup
Beef, spinach, and tofu soup; thoroughly velveted beef slices cook with soft tofu cubes and spinach in a ginger-infused broth for a hearty, protein-rich homestyle soup.
Instructions
- 1

Slice the beef thinly and put it into a container. Add 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1/4 teaspoon of sugar, and 1/3 teaspoon of pepper, and mix well. Add 1 tablespoon of water and mix well again. Add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch and continue to mix well. Finally, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and mix well. Let it sit for 30 minutes or more.
- 2

Cut the tofu into pieces and wash and drain the spinach;
- 3

Turn the soup pot to high heat, add ginger slices, tofu, and ham, bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes to allow the ham to release its flavor. After simmering, skim off any foam that appears.
- 4

Add the beef in scattered portions and do not stir immediately;
- 5

Continue adding spinach leaves, then add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, and 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil. Bring to a boil and stir a few times;
- 6

Sprinkle in the cilantro, then serve immediately while hot. Enjoy!
